Football Season is the heart of Eaglette performances. 

Drill teams were borne out of the desire to have precision dance teams entertain with half-time band performances.  Each week, the girls practice half-time routines – pom, rhythm, prop, skirt, high kick.  Half-time performances always conclude with the traditional Confidence kick routine, performed by only those who made weekly tryouts for this prestigious dance.

Football season traditions include

• Weekly Outstanding Girl (OG) award
• Weekly Spirit Girl award
• Escort provided flowers to officers and directors
• Mini-Eaglettes who are often allowed to join the team on the field for the pre-game line up and sit with the team through half-time
• Eaglette Booster Club gifts on special games
• Social-Officer provided hospitality gifts to opponent’s drill team
• Officer/Escort hospitality / introductions of opponent’s drill team officers
• Military salute during Homecoming Court presentation
